Our Impact
RadGram strengthens community-driven movements to defend and restore community rights and ecosystems in Northeast Thailand. We aim to heal economies, environments, and social ties frayed by the ecological and social injustices of the extractive industry.
Our work creates change across four areas:
Restoring people’s ability to derive life from the land and addressing environmental degradation through community-led restoration efforts and local cotton cultivation.
Creating economic opportunities that sustain the environment and foster community connection through the Weaving Group in Loei and community-based tourism in Dong Mafai.
Empowering communities with resources to drive grassroots movements forward through training for community leaders, direct regranting to local NGOs, and empowering the next generation of movement organizers.
Creating pathways to work across generations and building collective power by facilitating psychological healing for Women Human Rights Defenders.
Impact Report
Our impact is measured not just in numbers, but in land restored, movements strengthened, and communities healed. Read our annual impact reports:
“In the wider community, villagers who once stood on opposite sides of the mining issue now come together to weave and learn. It’s through this process that connections begin to heal.”
Sombat Nipoungla (Kong), KRBK Loei members and Weaving School Student Cohort 1
"This partnership has strengthened the community's ability to manage local tourism as part of implementing our Community Restoration Plan. It has also instilled confidence in local youth, offering them opportunities to become tour guides and engage with their heritage.”
Terdpong Anuvech (Por Piek),
Dong Mafai Community Local Guide
“I have witnessed a transformation in the movement, shifting from one led by a few to one where everyone can lead because they understand that their contributions matter.”
